Win7 Finestra stopped working

For 2 days now Finestra fails on startup. Re-installed but same problem. Could be an automatic Win7 update which conflicts with virtualdesktops.exe, otherwise nothing was changed manually.
I really use it in my work! So any advice about a fix is welcome.

I replaced Finestra with Dexpot, it's more stable. Dexpot also seems to avoid the problem where switching desktops loses the current window focus.

Unfortunately, the Windows problem signatures are mostly useless for debugging. If you want to try again, I released 2.1 the other day, and it correctly maintains the window Z-order. It might also fix your startup problem.

I have had exactly the same problem since V2 on my windows7 laptop, so I had to go back to V1.  I just tried this new 2.1 update, but no luck.  Thanks for the tip on Dexpot.
