THIS is the version that works BEST for Windows 7. see http://blog.ideaday.de/max/2012/01/finestra/ By the way it DOES work on Windows 7/64 - because I run it on Windows 7/64 without problems :-)

5 Stars for the product, 4 stars for the latest release. First of all, if you have the older VDM version, deinstall that before you install this newer version. The two don't mesh well. A few minor bugs with this, but a great product. Can't live without it. Will get back to 5 stars once the bugs are squished.

Is not working on my Vista. I end up with two desktop managers overlayed. The first one is still offering an update which hangs up and after installing from the website I cannot switch off hotkeys which is showing many errors as they conflict. It should copy settings and remove old program but it does not. Not a release client for me.

Doesn't work on Windows 7/64. I upgraded from Vista & XP virtual desktops when it said an upgrade was available. So I installed it and configured it like the previous one (it doesn't copy settings over automatically). However, it doesn't work. When I click on a desktop, all the windows of all applications in the current desktop follow along. Seems promising but it's not ready for prime time
