Reviews for this release

Easy to use and to switch windows. Very slow to display all desktops, and does so on all monitors (maybe why it is slow). Apps seem jumbled in this mode making it difficult to move an app across desktops. Would prefer moving an app using a context menu selection. In all fairness, I have quad-monitors with a marginal ATI display card which could contribute to the problem. Holding out for the 1.3.

LOVE IT .. i have tried several but none have supported multi-monitor .. SUGGESTION: add a feature where you can hide the taskbar on desktop 2 for example but leave it showing on Desktop 1 and 3 and so forth .. BUT .. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT

It does not work for me. It just crashes at start-up. I cannot uninstall it / reinstall it. I am stuck without it and frustrated.

nice. I would like to see this feature: When switching to an application via the Taskbar, FVD should automatically switch to the virtual desktop where this applications windows are. please!

Very nice looking and have good features, but too slow for my Pentium VI 3000.

Massive improvement over the previous version. The default hotkeys are still not sane for laptop usage (i.e. using NumPad). I suggest adding a third option to the "Send Window to Desktop" and "Desktops" hotkeys, which is F-Keys, e.g. Win-F1 switches to desktop 1, etc. Customising hotkeys so they don't conflict with normal Win7 Aero hotkeys is still a bit of a painful trial-and-error process too.

I used Vista/XP virtual desktop for years. This new version is even better, quicker and smoother. Although it doesn't copy settings automatically, it was easy enough to run both at the same time and copy them over manually. And no crashes! Great job!
