Did everyone with this issue try installing the Visual C++ 2010 runtime as per the download page's instructions?

SFXGroup wrote Mar 27, 2012 at 2:09 AM

Identical problem, i have already installed the C++ 2010 64bit update needed

zhuman wrote Mar 27, 2012 at 9:06 AM

You actually need the 32-bit version, as Finestra runs as 32-bit.

Downloading Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8328
fixed the issue on a Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
It is indeed necessary to download the 32-bit fix

Does not start here either XP SP3 with only .net 4, vc 2010 sp1, slimdx 2012 jan packages installed.

How can this be classified as "Impact : Low" as the software does not even start ?!
