Excel toolbar missing

If I open an Excel file and change it to other desktop (i.e. Win+Ctrl+2), when I change to that desktop, the Excel program has lost the toolbar of the upper area.
In this situation, I have to close and reopen the Excel file to recover the toolbar.
This happens me in Windows XP, with Excel 2007.

How has this not been fixed yet? If you're not going to maintain a program, please don't release it in the first place and waste peoples time. Or at least remove the program from the websites you upload it to and let people know that it's not longer available. This is one of the major issues with these 'software' websites, instead of developers using their own websites to host their downloads. This issue was reported nearly three years ago and not a single response from the developer. That's rediculously bad customer support, and the developer should definitely quit his day job!
