Desktop Wallpaper does not remain after reboot

I am on .5RC and I am able to set teh wallpaper for each desktop. When I reboot the wallpaper is returned to the Windows default for each desktop.

Any suggestions?

Try downloading the latest version, 0.6, which I just released. If this does not fix it, please post another comment.

I'm on version 0.6.2826.25562 The "Use per-Desktop backgrounds" still keeps only the last background. When I reboot the background of the last desktop I was on when I reboot is the default for all desktops after the reboot. I'm running XP Pro SP2.

It also does not appear that the "Use per-Desktop backgrounds" checkbox remained checked after the reboot. I checked it several times before the reboot to make sure it held before the reboot. After the reboot it was unchecked again.

I am on version 0.6.2826.25562 as well. The per desktop backgrounds works for me for the most part(I am on Vista however). There is a slight problem. The current set up that i have is 4 desktops. It seems that the first three will change, and save when I start up the next time. The fourth will change, but the next time the program runs, the 4th background is the same as whatever the first background is. I will do a bit of experimentation and see if I can find out any more information.

It seems that whatever size(number of desktops) I put the last numbered desktop background is not saved, and is always the same as the first one.

I small suggestion would be to when exiting the program to change the background back to what is on virtual desktop number 1.

I am running version 0.6 on 32-bit Vista Business and have a similar problem. Every time I reboot, all the desktops are set back to whatever was on desktop 1.

I'm running 0.6.2826.25562 on Vista Home Premium 32-bit, and not only does it not save my backgrounds (it defaults to background 1), it doesn't keep the "use per-desktop backgrounds" box checked. I really like this program, and wish this small bug would be fixed; I really hate having to redo all four of my desktops every time I reboot:(

I have just finished fixing this for the next version. It all stems from two small typos. It should work correctly in the next release.
