Two minor exceptions

description

I hesitate to report these since the board seems to have been deluged by double posts on a similar subject...

Ah, I see what's going on with all the weird posts here.

When I hit enter in Firefox 3.0.1., it posts the message instead of moving to a new line. Must be a bug in codeplex or firefox...?

VDM Issue #1

Clicking too rapidly on the mini-toolbar buttons (as happens when I'm hunting for a specific desktop) will sometimes produce the following exception:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

NOTE: I'm on a 64-bit platform, if that matters.

Issue #2

I don't have a copy of the exception text, but, in the process of recovering windows after issue #1, I got an error trying to recover a window. Apparently, I'd already closed that window, so VDM's window recovery tool crashed with an "invalid handle" error.
