No Mini-preview

I just installed this REALLY COOL app, and it seems to work okay - except that what I think is supposed to be the coolest part doesn't work. When I hover my mouse cursor over the tray icon, I do get the mini-preview, but it shows no desktop. Instead, I get a bunch of darker grey rectangles. I also can't move the windows using either the mouse or the key combinations in either the mini-preview or the full-screen preview.

I have to say though that despite the problems, this is by far the slickest VDM I've ever used. It seems pretty gentle on RAM, too. Nicely done!!! Thanks.

Thanks. The mini-preview isn't supposed to allow you to move windows around, however, the fullscreen one is. If you can't, it's probably because the window you are trying to move has administrator privileges while VVDM doesn't. Try running VVDM with administrator privileges to see if this resolves the issue.

Okeydokey, I see how it works now. So, I CAN move windows around in the fullscreen view. But the mini-preview desktops (I left it on the default of 4) still shows the dark grey rectangles instead of little thumnails of the open windows on each desktop.

Also, although at first it worked okay, now when I hover my mouse over the tray icon (running the app as Admin or not), I get this "unhandled exception error":

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

                            • JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I dunno if this helps you at all, but I figured I'd include it anyway.

Thanks again!
